"In the past, every story used to begin with "once upon a time....". The trend, now a days, took a new shape. Every story has its own begin and end. Every writer has their own style of beginning and ending a story. And every narrator has their own concept and approach. So, in this modern world which demands novelty and excitement in each and every happening in a story or in real life, it is just the application of the evergreen Darwin's theory of natural selection "survival of the fittest". The one who reaches the masses with his/her writings live in people's minds forever.
So, now comes the question of "How to reach those masses?" Do you need to read the books of famous authors? My answer to this question is absolutely "NO". Be a voracious reader. But, never discriminate your reading based on the author. Never limit the choice based on the authors. You can do this to enjoy the moments of selecting your favorite writers, favorite styles of writings, and on the whole to enjoy your reading. But if you want to start writing, you should never read focusing on the author, but focus on how do you yourself present anything you have read. And slowly, you should be the one who only writes, rather than one who read. And by reading even after once you started writing will only lead your writing style influenced by other's.", saying this I lowered my voice immediately once I realized that I am standing at the edge of a rock and turned back to my friend and continued, "Doesn't it sound right.....Dear....". Sanju is staring at me. I can read from her blue eyes that the way I express my thoughts, is making up her mind confirm about me as a person thinking self-monarch, which I hate to think off at all. My intention is to let her know that my style of writing should not be overlapped by anyone's. But her advice is to read different author's books and get inspired.
to be continued...
