Siri @ 20th Annual ITsAP Software Product Showcase and Awards

As usual, I attended the Advantage AP conference this year too. Earlier, I presented a blog on my visit to 19th Annual software showcase at below link:

I discussed on what this showcase is and the favorite showcases that inspired me.

Showcase that inspired me:

Galaxilocal.com - As and when I was strolling along the array of various stalls showcasing their software products, I found bit different and interesting about a stall. The names at the top is read as glaxilocal.com. Impressive!!! The stall is surrounded by quite large crowd, around it, just like honeybees around a bee hive. Interesting!!! I went closer and noticed that it is an online super market. Somehow I found way to meet the stall owner and grabbed a chance to talk for few minutes. He is very much aspiring with great ambitions. From his talk, and the way they showcased their products and plans, I found that Galaxilocal is an innovative and customer caring online store. He mentioned it as a convenient online store of the 21st Century fulfilling the needs of customers at doorsteps for free, and with competitive prices offering challenging discounts. Great!!! The continuous and constant analysis on customer requirements done by the founders has made them arrive at such an innovative idea. Infact, they grabbed a lot of recurring orders within a short span even before implementing the intensive marketing. Right now Galaxilocal is local online super market in Hyderabad. Hope to see Galaxilocal as GalaxiGlobal soon. Might be long way, but still wish to see it right away :)

Virgo - Dress in a Flash by Prodigy - Prodigy again grabbed the attention of visitors by displaying its wide range of technology spectrum. This time it showcased Virgo - which offers a new online shopping experience providing a win-win situation for both customers and shoppers. Last year, like Galaxilocal, it showcased its other service product i.e. JustFix which is an innovative home improvement idea, but halted in middle to come out with much more innovation. Waiting for the time of JustFix returns.

Potential Skills developed by me from the exposure:

Gained knowledge on new technologies.

Met the delegates who were introduced in previous year.

Had business interactive discussions which made me think much more broad and realize my long term goals.

Encountered an Ice break which I remember forever.
