As and when the relationship grow and continue for quite long time, we again start thinking about ourselves and our interests and we lose interest on their regular qualities which we liked in them and slowly our concentration diverts on their negative side also. And we would start thinking about the sacrifices we have done to maintain a relationship with them. From this point of time we start showing drastic changes in our expressions. In this phase we feel free to express negative expressions i.e. our anger, frustration, dislike, etc. immediately when we feel them. This is because of our bond with the person which grew stronger and we gain confidence in freedom of expression and thought. This is the state at which we feel to express and share anything to them truly without hiding. But we human beings have different feelings embedded in us, like caring, possessiveness, hate, like, love, secure, frustration, etc. So, in this phase where the person take the freedom to express, if any of our negative feelings i.e. possessiveness, dislike, frustration, etc. are enhanced, definitely a conflict rises and sometimes it may even lead to situation of losing the relationship. This is the point at which we start thinking why we start hating a person whom we are ever interested in upto now, whose most of the qualities we liked upto now.........A self analysis starts and there comes the question Does LOVE retain for lifelong?
My answer for this is absolutely YES. Hating someone with whom you already built a relationship is something virtual. The hidden fact behind would be you are loving it more, but exhibiting it with a negative expressions like possessiveness, anger, frustration, etc. In such situations instead of exhibiting the negative expressions on each other, if we try to love/like and care each other much more, our relation grows much stronger, sweeter and with everlasting love and happiness.

Wow, well said Siri. I sometimes think why I show my anger and frustration so freely on my loved ones. Now I understood that its because of freedom of expression!
